What is Your Cancellation Policy?

●  After payment is made the booking fee will be non refundable regardless of departure date.

●  Free cancellations until 30 days before the departure date. The booking fee is non-refundable.

●  A partial refund of 50% will be issued for cancellations between 14-30 days prior to the departure date. The booking fee is non-refundable.

●  All booking charges for cancellations within 14 days of the departure date are non-refundable. The booking fee is non-refundable.

If the customer/charterer requests to reschedule a charter, Next Wave Boat Charters will charge a rescheduling fee equal to that of the original booking fee. If the charter is cancelled due to weather related issues (determined only by the captain), mechanical issues prior to departure, or any other unforeseen circumstance, Next Wave Boat Charters may provide a full refund.  If a trip is cut short due to adverse weather (only when determined by the captain), the client may be eligible for a partial refund. Each circumstance will be evaluated individually, and the necessary compensation shall only be determined by a Next Wave Boat Charter’s representative. No-shows will be charged the full price. 

What should we bring?

We always have all the required safety gear and 1 case of water. We advise our guests to bring sunscreen, food, water, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages, towels, sunglasses, bathing suits, and protective cover up clothing. 

How much notice is required to book a trip?
We allow bookings at 24 hour notice prior to any trip. While we cannot guarantee availability we will try our best to meet any request.
What if the weather is bad or gets bad?

Only when deemed hazardous prior to the charter by the captain will the charter be cancelled and a full refund will be issued to the guest. If a trip is cut short due to adverse weather, the client may be eligible for a partial refund as determined by a Next Wave Boat Charters representative.



How late can I change the day of a booking?
You can change the date or time of a booking 24 hours in advance.
When should we arrive?
We recommend our guest arrive at the dock 10 minutes prior to arrival. This gives the guest time to load up, ice the drinks, and understand the location of the safety features on the boat.
Where can we go?

We can go anywhere you want too as long as the captain deems the activity does not impede safe navigation of the vessel. The Captain will always recommend a suggested itinerary.

Is the water dangerous?

While boating is an inherently risky activity we always advise our guest to watch their step when walking in the water and advise them of any currents, slippery or sharp surfaces, and have protocols in place in the event someone does get hurt.

What marine life is in the water?

This is a natural body of salt water. All kinds of marine life live in these waters including sharks, dolphins, manatees, and fish. Most are not dangerous or interested in humans. Hundreds of people swim in these waters daily and have no issues.

Can we extend the charter?

Yes at the captains discretion given another charter is not booked after. At an extra flat rate we can extend the time of the charter.

Are pets allowed?
Dogs, and other pets are allowed but the charterer assumes full responsibility for their pets and is responsible for any damages to the boat caused by the pet.
Do you provide alcoholic beverages?
No, legally we can not provide or sell alcohol to our guests. We advise our guests to bring their own drinks.
How many guests are allowed on the trip?
Although our boat is rated for 16 people We can only allow the charterer and 12 guests due to coast guard regulations. This counts as a group of 13 total.
Do we need to bring a cooler?
Our boat always has a cooler with ice and plenty of space. You are welcome to bring an extra cooler if you would like.
